Probiotic Beer selected as Finalist at 2022 NutraIngredients Asia Awards

The Probiotic Raspberry Sour Beer, which was created by Assoc. Prof. Liu Shaoquan and his team, has been selected as one of the three finalists of the Product of the Year (Probiotics) at the NutraIngredients-Asia Awards, which celebrates the best branded or own-label supplements, functional foods and beverages containing probiotics. The Probiotic Raspberry Sour Beer is produced by Probicient Pte. Ltd., an NUS start-up, in collaboration with Brewerkz Brewing Co. The Probiotic Raspberry Sour Beer contains at least 1 billion Colony Forming Units (CFU) of probiotics per serving with a shelf life of at least 12 months at chilled temperature. Being the world’s first commercial probiotic beer, it has been launched at all of Brewerkz’s restaurant outlets in Singapore from 1 March 2022 and has been reported by over 30 media outlets from over 10 countries worldwide.
