About The Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein at NUS

The Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein at the National University of Singapore (NUS) was established to advance research in alternative proteins and lead commercialisation efforts across the region. With a US$30 million grant from the Bezos Earth Fund, the Centre will spearhead interdisciplinary research and innovation to meet the nutritional needs of the growing global population.

The Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein will be hosting its inaugural information session, Coffee Morning: Bridging Academia & Industry, on 24 April 2025. This session will feature presentations by the Centre’s six Workstream Leads on their research focus areas, followed by a Q&A and networking segment with academic and industry representatives.

The Bezos Earth Fund is helping transform the fight against climate change with the largest ever philanthropic commitment to climate and nature protection. By providing funding and expertise, the Bezos Earth Fund partners with organisations to accelerate innovation, break down barriers to success and create a more equitable and sustainable world.
